Overview
Boston Dynamics' commercial quadruped inspection robot; it can carry sensors and an optional arm. Typical jobs: energy-site rounds, overnight shop-floor patrols, and hazardous or repetitive data collection in facilities—add a camera or gas sensor and it walks the tight corridors people would rather skip. Versus consumer quadruped toys, Spot is sold into industrial deployments and enterprise service, with public materials stressing plant and facility ops—not home entertainment.
